They called me offering a “free service” which I should pay £105 for a insisted on my Credit Card. I thought I’d play along and then see how daft I could get. The action really starts after 5 minutes, but you need to listen to get the jist of what these evil fuckers are upto. Robbing vunerable people who don’t know any better. I’ll show em!

I know it goes on a bit, but it does get darker by the minute, trust me.

 Comedy Hypnosis at the Falcon Inn, Painswick.

What a great night. Thanks to James for booking my Comedy Hypnosis eXperiMental Show for his Birthday and then taking part.

It just shows how you can get great entertainment in British Pubs, without the need for a stage or huge budget. Every landlord and his dog has Karaoke nights and a DJ with the odd Quiz night thrown in. Only a select few think outside the Box and get entertainment that people can enjoy and talk about for weeks to come.

OK, James booked and paid for the show, but it was set in a small pub that is at least 400 years old, yet worked beautifully. The Comedy Hypnosis and the Comedy was second to non. I would say that though, but hey, check out the video and see for yourself.

Remember that Doc Strange is my Character on stage and he can be as loud and blue or as quiet and clean as you want. You only have to say what kind of act you want and you’ve got it.

It just so happens that the bookers who want a clean show with no swearing, usually don’t want me to put clips on the website!

When you meet someone more famous than yourself, it’s always good when they are nice to you.

New Best Friends!

I’ve met many famous people and there are varying degrees of friendliness, depending on their mood, what they are doing, how you approach them etc

Today while filming as an audience member for the BBC Magic show “The Magicians” I had the pleasure of meeting Craig Revel Horwood and was more than pleasantly surprised.

What a lovely, warm and funny man he is. Not only did we have a chat and a picture together, he very graciously allowed me to call my daughters so he could have a chat with them.

Molly and Rosie are fans of “Strictly Come Dancing” and when Craig asked to speak with them, they lost their minds. He asked them who they thought would win Strictly, they said Chelsea (my wife Jane said Jason).

Craig was so nice chatting with them, and me.

When I arrived home, my girls were hiding. They thought I’d brought him home with me!

Thanks Craig, you are a gentleman and you’ve got yourself a new fan.

This video clip is from my Comedy hypnotist show at the Friendship Inn in Nailsea Oct 2011. It shows how simple it is for anyone to lean how to be a hypnotist, in seconds.

Russ The Landlord did an amazing job making space for my show in this traditional english pub. He’d set the scene beautifully and had the place packed by the time I arrived.

Some had seen me before, and although the start of my show can be similar, once I have done my inductions and made sure everyone is comfortable in their seats, I like to crack on with what pops out of my head, it’s a different show every time.

This evening I did something I haven’t done in years, and gave “the power” to one of the hypnotised volunteers, Alex. He took to being a hypnotist like a duck to water and I let him perfom for a few minutes while I had a nice sit down and a right good laugh.

Thanks for everyone making me so welcome and I’m glad you all enjoyed the show. It’s a shame my camera ran out of memory again, I’ve just had delivery of a bigger memory card and a more powerful battery, so I can capture more great shows. Live and Learn!

What a day it’s been, finding out first thing this morning that Steve Jobs Popped His Clogs and had died really put a dampner on the day.

I’m not an Apple Fanboy but I’ve always admired Steve and his Chutzpah.

There was a guy who believed in himself and what he stood for and I was always amazed.

Thanks to Steve Jobs, he created Apple and Revived it. Brought us some of the most iconic and easy to use gadgets in tech.

I never really wanted an iPhone, but when I got one it was so blooming easy to use I was smitten. I was so used to having books to read with instructions for most of my computing, here was a device I could use out the box.

More than anything, it’s what has happened to consumer technology thanks to Steve and his merry band at Apple. They have made change. Made other companies pick up their socks and do a much better Job, just so Jobs could come back at them with something even better.

Thanks to Steve, I reckon we are years ahead of where we would have been without him.

Heck, we’d probably still be using floppies.

Rest in Peace you weird, Polo neck wearing, visionary.

When I called up on Wednesday, I was half asleep and really didn’t think I would get through to the radio quiz “Gone in Sixty Seconds” but I did.

The voice said hello and I realised, with my sleepy brain that I’d better wake up fast.

I ran to the loo, washed my face, brushed my teeth and shouted to my daughters to come up “I’m going to be on the radio”

Well, I really didn’t expect to get more than a couple of questions right. They’re not hard (if you know anything about anything, which I don’t. I’m too busy entertaining), its just that you know that you brain refuses to work under pressure.

Thank goodness there was only one question of sport (I got it wrong, of course). Something about Rugby. Meh.

Getting the one wrong about the Worlds largest creature was definatly dumb, and I knew as soon as I’d said Elephant that it was infact Blue Whale and I will be seen as a right thicko from now on.

So that was that, I won £25. What should I buy? New nails?

This morning I was on again and plugged the Pantomime I’m going to be in at Christmas. “Turn again Whittington” Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for Kids, no concessions, available from The Actonians Website for the last weekend in November and the first weekend in December.

I can’t believe that I managed to get 7 questions out of 10 right again. Hey, I’m no genius, but I really should have known “What do you add to Oxygen to make Air?” I said “Hydrogen” Idiot. I must have thought I was making a bomb (a water bomb). It is of course Nitrogen.

Watch what happens when you put a balloon full of air in Liquid Nitrogen. Cool (he he).

Now that I have looked up the composition of Air, it’s seems I was right, kind of, see below.

So, I made it again and won another £25. I really didn’t expect to and I certainly don’t tomorrow. So it’s quite possibly my last time on Jack FM Bristol, unless I am really lucky.

Now should I take the money and run. Fifty quid or Nowt? What the heck, I’ll go for it I reckon.

I just wanted to tell the World what a fantastic night I had at the London Palladium last night. Thanks to the wonderful performers and magicians who performed such an amazing show, including but not limited to:

Michael Finney – I’ve never seen him perform before and I have heard such great things, I wasn’t disappointed. His dry delivery and bright suit made me laugh as he got a little kid to help him with a card trick. I know the card on forehead routine, but it’s much funnier when Finney does it.

Mac King – He really is daft as a brush and his Cloak of Invisibility was brilliantly silly. Next time I am in Vegas I am going to check out his full show.

Jeff Hobson – I laughed so hard that I nearly caused a riot. I was in stiches from the moment he opened his mouth. How a straight guy can be so camp is just wonderful and a real blast from the past. you know, when people wern’t hung up on everything being PC. To get so much humour from so little, as with the egg bag, I was humbled and amazed. At the end he gave back the watches of all he touched throughout the show. What a topper, proving he is really magical.

Somthing I have been working on is my Comedy Magic Act and to see these guys work was like being transported back to the days of Music Hall Variety and Vaudeville.

Such wonderful performers whose material is tried, tested, very polished and as bright as a new pin. I’ve got some work to do. Thanks guys for the Inspiration.

Now then, the other Acts. Well it would be unfair for me not to mention the act who Blew everyone away with his Skill and Performance. The amazing Marko Karvo with his bird productions. Just beautiful and exactly what you expect of a real magician.

Paul is hypnotized to think he is a Street Dancer who farts at the same time. He must save his farts to win the dance competition, but they keep leaking out.
